POS Updateable Fields

In Store > Settings > POS, you can control which fields get imported from your POS on every POS sync.

When you import fields from your POS system, they can no longer be edited within Dispense. Each time your menu syncs, we will overwrite your data with any selected fields based on what is in your POS.

POS Custom Mappings

In Store > Settings > POS, you can customize how categories from your POS map to the Dispense ones. For example, if you want to map "Rick Simpson Oil" from your POS to "Concentrates" in Dispense.

Note: Once you enable custom mapping, it will remove all of the hardcoded mapping for your location.

How to set up custom mappings

  1. Toggle 'Custom POS mappings'
  2. Add categories
  3. Click Save
  4. Navigate to Menu > Product and re-sync the menu. Check that your mappings are correct.

If a particular product is mapping incorrectly

  1. Navigate to Menu > Products, and click on the product that you want to re-map.
  2. Click the 'Advanced' tab
  3. In the category column, you will see what the POS category name is. Copy it.
  4. Navigate to Store > Settings > POS, paste the POS category into the desired Dispense category.
  5. Navigate to Menu > Product and re-sync the menu. Check that your mappings are correct.
